Author Anyone We Know?
TRIBO

Does it bother anyone else that a member of this forum might have been a victim of this tragedy and we will never know?

I'm not as active a member of this forum as some and many just pop in and out without ever posting - but how would we know if someone were to be killed? We probably wouldn't, and that bothers me a bit....

I have had that same thought, TRIBO. I know that many of the members on these forums are either living on the East Coast or know someone who does.

I am comforted to see the growing support that our country is giving to those who suffered and the rally behind the once "iffy" President. I have to admit I did not vote for George W., but have been quite impressed with the manner in which he has conducted not only himself, but our entire nation.

God bless all those who have suffered and watch over all of those that will be mobilized in the efforts to fight back.

I have not posted on the forum lately and wanted to say I grew up in New Jersey just across the Hudson River from NYC and have many friends and family still living in the area, thankfully they are all ok. My prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragedy not one day that has gone by that I have not shed a tear. I am confident our country and its people will emerge from this stronger and more united than ever before. At my home hangs an American flag that is very symbolic for many reasons the most personal of which is that this flag has been folded for the past 30 years since the death of my father who served and fought for this great country with the U.S. Army.

I was thinking the same thoughts. I worried a great deal about the members of the forums during the recent tragedy you have had in America.

My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a friend or family member to this nightmare.

I live in a teen detention grouphome in uptown manhattan and I can not type what I went through... My sister worked at WTC 66th floor and was present there when this happened, when I heard about the incident that morning, the next 2 hours after that moment was the most horrified time in my lifetime... Thanks to the great people on this other board i frequent I got my break...

If you want to witness a part of what i went thru and these great people who helped me... here is that thread...
