HP bought out Compact today in a massive merger. Good news or bad? I don't work on either of these products unless I have to. Time will tell if they will finally make a easy to work on computer product, or a monster system that has to go back to the factory when repairs are needed.

They didn't merge yet. Unless killed by some regulatory agency the deal will finalize sometime before the middle of the next year.
