| That's a good one, reminds me of some of the articles you find in Monster or Computer Jobs.
I know I can follow more of that advice and do better.
The one I like is talking to people who are successful in the field that you may want to get into. Taking succesful people like that to lunch is definitely a good idea; you can glean some good ideas. I had done that a few months ago when i thought seriously about computer security. | |

| My current manager has always said to me, its harder to teach a technical person people skills, than to teach someone with people skills to be a technician. Working as a helpdesk analyst, I find I utilise my person to person skills much more, than my technical problem solving skills. |
