Which would cover: Networking, Hardware, and software.

| I personally subscribe to:
-PC World
-Smart Computing
-Maximum PC
-Windows 2000 Magazine
-NetworkWorld
-Certification Magazine
I also will occassionally pick up:
-ComputerWorld (usually read for free at the library)
-Atlanta ComputerUser (more a newspaper than magazine)
-PC Magazine (if they have any good articles)
-Microsoft Certified Professional (Windows 2000 Magazine is more informative)
I used to subscribe to Maximum Linux, but that magazine, which was actually a decent Linux magazine, was cancelled.

I get these 3 myself. I like Smart Computing series the best as references.
If you are into hacking, try 2600.
While some of Smart Computing series basic, some of what it covers is advanced, you find them in most grocery stores. THey are how-to magazines and great resources on anything IT. Maximum PC is the most technical of these 3 I listed. | |

| 2600's good. It's too bad Maximum Linux stopped publishing. I read one issue of it, and it was really good. I get a free magazine called Interactive Week which has some good articles in it. I wouldn't pay for it, but as long as it's free I'll read it. | |

| I always pick up Maximum PC, Very good mag, Though it is a bit pricy for being so small. | |
|
| i think Maximum PC is $12 a yr for a subscription, far cheaper than buying it on the newstand. | |

| You are paying for the demo disk that comes with the magazine. MUCH cheaper if you subscribe.
