Hey I have been trying to locate a software package that will gather all the information on a pc and put it in a file.
Not a screen shot utility, something that pulls information and places it in a viewable file.

Does anyone know one?

What type of information do you want to gather?

Hardware, Drivers, Network settings, Services running, etc. (the more the better)

Basically if the server had issues and something was changed or modified I would have a layout of what it had earlier.

I would recommend Sandra. I downloaded it a couple of days ago, and It's my favorite. It gives you a lot of details. The standart version is free and has a lot of info, more then you will ever need. I have the pro version ($30), and It's great.
The website is:

By the way, you can make a system report (.txt file), it will be around 50 pages about your computer information.
