Need Help with IE ??
|
|
|
| hi,
I have a user that uses IE6 with win2k Professional. She dial's up to the internet. She used to be able to disconnect when the browser closed and a pop up box would appear, "Do you wish to disconnect?"
I switched this feature off, but now she wants that feature back !! For the life on me, I can't find a setting that can bring back that feature ???? Anyone know how to get it back ?
I've tryed resetting the browser to default settings from the: "Tools, Internet options, Programs, Reset Web Settings". The only other thing I can think of is totally reinstalling IE !

| It's not an IE setting. It's a Windows setting. You miught be able to find it under Dial-up Networking, but I think it's in your Windows preferences. | |

| This MAY do it, but I sure haven't tried myself,
Internet Properties in the Comtrol Panel -
Connection Tab -
Select Connection -
Settings -
Advanced... -
(Check box) Disconnect when Connection may no longer be needed.
