Please, I just installed BEOS 5 operating system. Anyone here been able to network it to a windows system? If so please advice me on it cos I want to try out Internet connection sharing with it through my windows computer which is already connected through cable.

This is how Unix and Windows communicate.Its quite simple once you understand what is going on.Get it installed and take a look at the smb.conf file.The smb.conf file is how/where you configure samba.You will also have to implement a DNS or WINS server to have connectivity.Ive been working with this with RH 7.1 and Caldera.

Also look into setting up a proxy server if you want to share your Internet connection.
