| What is a good computer magazine out there.. not pc world or anything like that, but a good networking magazine or something..
I've read network world, but it's not very good.. I wanna subscribe to a good informative one, that maybe gives the occasional tutorial and such.. I just think that the pc world magazines are geared too much toward selling and rating products, but I prefer a magazine that informs and teaches.. So if you know of a good one, please tell.

| looks like a winner. is it linux only as the name implies? are there examnotes study guides on this site, because i havent seen any? | |

| The emphasis is on Linux, but you get a good many tips since integrating Windows with Linux and Linux with Novell and UNIX are still important topics. Also, it shows you how to do many things yourself so it's a good intro to techie-type things. To get to the ExamNotes, go to:
http://www.examnotes.net/
and click on the menu in the left frame. That should lead you to the Notes that you want. Also try www.cert21.com as there are some there I think.

| In general, PC mag is a good source..
For professional journal, it depend on your specific interest...

| Windows 2000 magazine is good. Most "newsstand" magazine are basically product reviews anyway. Even though they are not networking, Smart Computing, MaximuPC, and PC World are good magazines.
Network World is pretty good (and subscription is FREE). Nework Magazine might be more of what you are looking for, but it can go over your head at times. I think that you can get a free subscription as well.
