| I installed windows me at my house for learning and it has been a headache! It is not stable and doesnt seem to be as nice as windows 98SE.
I am Formatting Today!!! I dont want a trace of it on my PC. Windows Me is not for me!
Please tell me I am not alone! | |

| You are far from alone on that sentiment! I reformatted Me to Win2kPro last week for the same reasons. There's only so many reboots a person can stand in a day. | |

| I guess i am one of the lucky ones..i have installed ME on 10 different systems...all have different CPUs (AMD 300s to ATHLON 800s) and knock on the monitor...no problems...i also loaded it to play with but since installing i have been fortunate to keep it going strong...again i am one of the few..i do prefer 98SE because i still have to use some dos base programs that have to have changes in the Autoexec.bat and Config.sys files..i have found WIN ME erases these files each shutdown.... | |

| I am staying with W98SE myself. I heard about the early tests of ME and decided against it. If cornered in the future, I might go to 2000, but only if I can't find a viable alternative. If you really want to hate M$ just try the new XP nightmare. | |
