| Does anyone know about the file extension FPX or what you can use to open it? It is a scanned image file that I thought that I saved as a jpg, but when I e-mailed it to my self it came in as a FPX and I can’t seem to open in with anything. | |

| But what can I use to open it? Adobe Photoshope won't open it...and Windows is not recognizing it. | |

| I just noticed, PowerPoint 2000 lists fpx as one of the image filetypes you can open.
Not much good if you haven't got PwrPnt2000, granted. Just thought I'd let ya know

| Crazy…
I tried using Power Point 2000. It prompted me for the CD and installed what ever it needed after that I was able to preview the image, but was still unable to open it. I will mess around with it some more and see what happens. | |

| Crazy indeed...
I was putting together a presentation when I came across this as one of the image file types you can select. After reading your email I ran a search on my PC for *.fpx Lo and behold I found a file
\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Grphflt\MS.FPX
(Horrible little Office Assistant logo.)
However, I was able to insert it into my presentation. Got an interesting message as well, "Microsoft Picture It! / Kodak FlashPix Filter" asking me what size I wanted the image. Confirm unable to edit it though.
