| i would be interested in knowing the steps to make a network bootable disk yourself. Anybody can help ?
Thanks in advance | |

| Depends on which OS you are using. If you are in Windows, go into Control Panel and look under the 'add/remove programs' applet. There should be a tab allowing you to create a boot disk. | |

| sorry, i didn't explain myself!
os would be nt 4
what i meant was about creating a network bootable disk yourself "line by line" without using the wizard provided by the os.
Is it very complicated or is it feasible ?
Thank you for the help... | |

| It might be easier doing that in some open source variant of UNIX where you can see the code. It's not hard, but to write master boot records, I think you have to know assembly for your processor. |
