Kasor:

I'm not sure what you are asking- do you want the PDF maker bar to appear, or not to appear.

Either way, you can get do it by selecting the View menu and choosing Toolbars. Then, if you want the PDF maker to appear and their is no checkmark beside it, click on it.

If you do not want the PDF maker to appear and there is a checkmark beside it - click on it to remove the checkmark.

Hope this helps.

It more complex than that.

I have acrobat 5.0, but after install the Office XP. The pdf maker from the MS word is gone.

I follow up the knowledge from MS, but don't work.

I did copy the pdfmaker.dot form Office/Startup to Office10/startup but the marcro security thing come out and the icon still not out....

I tried to find it under the adobe, but no luck.

Hi Kasor,

I use Adobe Acrobat 5 and Word 2000, so I wasn't sure about Office XP and Adobe so I contacted Adobe, and so far I've been able to find out that you can't find the Acrobat bar because of the changes in the directory structure for Office XP.

You will have to copy your Acrobat PDFmaker files directly to the c:\documents and settings\your user profile\application data\microsoft\excel\xl start directory and to the c:\documents and settings\your user profile\application data\microsoft\word\startup directory.

They said that if you do this, you will be able to see the Pdfmaker bar.

I hope this helps you.
