| I am running Office XP and have no problems with sharing files to Office 2000. Not sure if it has issues with Office 97, but would assume it would work. Since Office 95 users are not eligible for the upgrade, that may mean that it doesn't convert well with Office 95 files. | |

| greetings,
first u check whether files stored in '97 or 2000 can be edited in xp.coz i had same problem when i upgraded from '97 to 2000.for my project i used access as my database.when i opened in 2000 i couldnt edit or change settings of any field or table.so i had to again reload '97 to finish my project.the files will get open but u may not be able to update any features.so just check it before u upgrade to xp. |
