| i am trying to audit a users access and use of a particular file. But i cannot find where the log report details the audit. I looked in Security log in event viewer but that only had logon/logoff events. I think I have set up auditing correctly, I right clicked the file, slected properties, then security tab, auditing. I then added the user to audit, and ticked the events I want to audit and clicked OK until I was back to the desktop.
Please help, I have been trawling through Microsofts website and did not find it particulary helpful and they also charge for telephone support now!
