| I've completed my CCNP and my MCSE and am now stuck wondering what's next? I almost feel lost not carrying around study material all day. Any suggestions on what should come next? Thanks,

| I've considered CCIE but I don't know if I want to commit the time and money to such a huge task. I also am considering RHCE but from all indications the test is going to cost me about $800 dollars. That's pretty steep also. | |

| I know, they are awfully expensive. you may want to spend some time getting familiar with some of Novell's products. it couldn't hurt, although I don't know how well Novell is doing financially. Microsoft and Linux seem to be edging them out. One thing you could also try is maybe some of the Solaris or SCO certs so that you would have demostrable UNIX skills instead of just Microsoft and Cisco, and I think they are usually a bit more reasonable. Best of luck, whatever you choose! | |

| I just picked up the RHCE book. I think I'll take a look and see if it's something I want to try for. If I feel comfortable with it after I'm done I'll spend the 800 and try the test. If not I'll just focus on something else, probably more Cisco. Thanks for the advice,

| No prob. Remember that the RHCE contains a lab. | |

You might consider CCDA/CCDP or Security. |
