I have a user who installed EarthLink 5.0 on their laptop. This program is automatically entering in an ip address to EarthLink in the DNS settings. This is interfering with the other DNS entries. For now we just delete the entry, it fixes the problem until the person uses EarthLink again. Does anybody know of a registry fix? What about entering the address in the HOST file?

I figured it out. In case anybody runs into this problem, place the ip address of the site under the Specify Name of Server Addresses in the tcp/ip settings of the Dialup Connection.
