Author software package that maps ip addresses

I’m looking for a software package that will be able to determine what ip addresses are being used through out the network. Apparently we are using more ip address than we have host. Can anybody give me any suggestions or point me to a website?

TIA

What environment are you using?

We have a frame-relay network, and we use Netware Servers. We have several distribution centers that list having most of the ip addresses being used when in fact only a certain amount is being used. This is due to poor documentation before I started this position.

Bernie, you may find something you can use here. I saw a utility that allows you to capture all network card information for up to 250 machines. Im assume you can get all binding info too.

Im taking a Novell class in school right now. I will ask my instructor (very experienced Novell/Unix admin) tommorow night and see what else I can come up with.

Cheers
