Internet Explorer Problem !!!???!!!

| Hi,
This is'nt a big problem, but it's so bloody annoying. In Internet Explorer 5.0, If I goto the "favorites", There always is a "Link" folder. I have tryed deleting this soooooooooooooooo many times, but the damn thing keeps reappearing, sometimes only seconds after I have deleted it. I have gone to the actual "Favorites" Folder on the Hard-disk and tryed deleting the "Links" folder there iswell with no success.
any ideas ? | |

| Hi Ando,
If you move, delete, or rename the Links folder on the Favorites menu, it gets re-created the next time you start your system. This is by design and only the good lord knows why 
The only thing you can really do is make the properties of the Links folder Hidden.
- Click Favorites on the toolbar.
- Right-click the Links folder, and then click Properties.
- Click to select the Hidden check box.
- Click OK.
- Exit out of Internet Explorer and fire it back up, you should see the links folder gone(hidden).

Thanks for that tip, I never taught about that !!, but I was able to fix it via the registry  !!!!
In the registry, it asks you what name do you want for the links folder, "LINKS" is the name by default. All I did was put in no value at all, leaving it blank !!!! which seemed to work a treat !! WEYHAY !!!!!!!!
