Intel has announced that they are abandoning their own certification program in favour of vendor-neutral industry standard certifications . . . they have specifically mentioned CIW and CompTIA in their web site statement. For more information see:

All Intel certs expire at the end of this year. This is going to make a lot of people mad, as I heard they had some hard tests . . .

With that list of certifications that you have, I guess you probably feel relieved that they were not any of the ones you have on your list.

Well . . . actually, I make it a point to try to get certifications that don't expire!

Looks like Server+ might gain a little instant respect. I'll be curious to see if this starts a trend.

Finally, they are out. I was trying to get it cert, but most people never heard of it or have it. After a while lack of candidate. It have to go..

Sometime, it is the technology or the trend in the IT field.
