I am sure some of may have notices that our site was inaccessible for some time today. This happened on more than one occasion.

I emailed our webhost Verio and they said that there seem to be a "small network blurp"

I am not sure what it means, but they sure have some problems. I've been with Verio for over a year now, back then they used to be dedicatedserver.net, but then Verio took over. I was afraid that the service may suffer after the takeover. Well, the service and support is still excellent (very expansive too)

I hope they figure out the problem soon. Who knows, maybe they are being cyber attacked.

This is the first time I see problems with them in over a year and it's very annoying.

Guess what? Just spoke with Verio support and they are having problem with Cisco router and it affects almost 1000 servers. They expect a replacement router to arrive. Not sure when, but I m sure they will get it done soon. 1000 dedicated server and each is paying them over $400.00/month, some alot more. They better have a spare router on premises.

Well, it WOULD have been annoying, but the notwork was down all day at work and we couldn't get to the net till about 3.30, but I have noticed a few times lately that it has been a tad slow . . . hope they get things straightened out soon.

Webmaster,

Firstly, I think you're doing a hella job with this site.

Keep your eye on Verio though. They are infamous for big-time overbooking their lines and having "problems".

They carry one of the local ISP's and from one hop between their routers brings back a result of over 600 milliseconds consistently.

Again, I'm not trying to flame anyone, but just be aware of Verio.
