Has Troytec switched to Testtech? if so, when and why?

Yes, Troytech is now Testtech. I think they have been forced like cheet.sheets to stop trading. So they have changed their name in the interim, or until they are taken to court again then they will just change their name again.

No, Troytech is NOT Testtech. Troytech is now Testkiller. They also have taken out there question and answer section and arranged it as key points. Testkiller is a Texas based company that took over Troytech a while back.

I believe that it is cheatsheets that is now operating as Testtech.

Hope this helps.

So are Troytechs no longer full of questions and answers? Are they just a study guide now or what?

I went looking for www.testkiller.com & got access denied. I tried www.testtech.com & no link to any examish type stuff there! And before anyone jumps at my throat, I use anything I get to help study. I normally buy at least one, maybe two books, and work through them, try and get on a course, and work through all available braindumps - for my next exam - clustering - Ive printed off 2 inches of study materials - mostly knowledgebase articles - required reading in addition to the course notes - and use any questions I can get hold of - at any level - to see whether I can work out the answer - or at least know why my answer disagrees with the answer given - wherever that question may have come from. Yes I have an aim of passing the exam, but I also want to know the subject as best I can as well, so when I get to use it, I know what Im doing!

Troytech the name was bought by Microsoft. Microsoft has decided to crack down on these sites to prevent people who don't know anything from just memorizing the answers. According to one of my instructors Microsoft is dumping the entire test question pool as of 1/1/02 and that will make the older study sheets useless for the most part. I just found this out myself yesterday. Hope this helps.

Maybe someone got round to telling them they had accidentally put live questions out on readiness review cds, which they gave to everyone on MOC courses for the core 4, up to August-September! They gave enough of the real questions (word for word) to make quite a difference - especially when I did 70-216! Maybe they will use that to get their new questions as well!

For anyone who care - this is testtechs reply to whether they used to be cheetsheets!

No we were never cheet-cheets We did sue them for copying our material and put them out of business though!!
They were copying our material because they knew we had very good stuff, However they re-worded so much the material went away from the actual stuff!! Antways they are shut down now!!!!

Where exactly did you hear they were dumping their question bank? Is this documented online anywhere?

Kasor, what does it matter if i need them to get certifIED? (check your grammar) This is a question im sure tons of people would like to know - doesnt have anything to do with getting certiFIED!

I heard this from an instructor at school. I am attending Ikon for my core classes. I am not sure where he found out from but I will try to find out

They should make a situational study guide. There is the barrier between learning from books and labs and putting the product and theory into a situation.
This would end a need for all these dump and dump-like questions.

Trotech is now Testkiller, but there big problems came from CompTIA. The Troytechs were too close to the actual test questions and they are under investigation by CompTIA.
That is why you can not buy any CompTIA testpreps from Testkiller(Troytech).
