Is it possable to have 2 Win2k DC's on same subnet?

Just a short question. Is it OK to have 2 windows domain controllers (both with different domains) on the same subnet and connected physically to the same Switch ?

No Domain trusts are enabled, I was just wondering if its ok to do this ? I dont want any replication of AD to occur between the two DC's

So you have 2 independent forests on the same network (both IP and wire). They will ignore each other.
Why would you do this?

the reason is because, I had major trouble a couple of weeks ago with one DC, and had to make a new domain with another server. I'm only keeping the old server running so as for clients to access their files if needed. I plan to shut the old one down for good in a few weeks once no-one is depending on it anymore
