| I am CCNA with 3+years of experience. While I am unemployed from Last over months I thought to work on CCNP. But there are no jobs for CCNPs. I heard that there is a job as CNC adminstrator. Is there any scope going to be for CCNPs. Or should I consider to be a CNC adminstrator? Help me out. | |

| Ofcourse there is scope for ccnp, CCNP leads to big $$$, companieas also get hooks ups on cisco appliances with their ccnp employees number. And not to mention that skills you will attain after your ccnp , then to ccie ... ccie = 110 k + ...
And ofcourse if you do not like all that you can become a programmer | |

| CCNP is in demand all over the world . i wonder if you have 3 years experience then why you did not went for CCNP course ? You should increase your qualifications & your skills in IT field with the time . As you said that you have 3 years experience with cisco go for CCNP course. | |

| Well I am studying my own and working toward CCNP. But seems like job situation is so down all over USA. The reason I asked for that CNC admin b/c a friend's company has opening in JD edwards. It is a job and money but this job will take me away from CISCO, which I am studying on. Plus right now there is no jobs for CCNA, or fresh CCNP. I have my resume on web; companies I Interviewed with, either canceling the positions or not hiring anymore. Its getting depressing. | |

| if you are getting this job then go for it and read cisco as other subject like you do in university. My thinking was not to touch PIX firewalls & red hat linux but i got new job and i have to interact with both of them so i am learning them now . My suggestion is to go for that job and part time get your cisco certifications untill you get any good job offer in cisco field so atleast you can have $ for your exams and other kind of stuff
Good luck |
