Author Morpheus is spyware?

I upgraded my Panda Antivirus and now it wont let me launch morpheus (a file sharing utility). When I launch it I get a virus alert with virus type being "Suspicious file." This never happened until I updated Panda (as I do almost daily). I am just wondering if the most recent version of my AV catches spy-ware programs because I did hear that morpheus is spyware. Anyone know about this?

I use Panda because results have shown it's better than the rest.

Hi Boulware5,

Have a question for you, hope you can help me out...

Has Morpheus ever given you any problems? Any system crashes or anything?

And can you give me your overall opinion on it.

Thnx

Just to update you all...I sent an email to Panda about this and they said it is a "false positive" and to turn off the heuristic scan so this wont be classified as a suspicious file.
