| Anyone heard of this?? It is a security based exam. Is there any real value in it? Is it recognized by anyone except the makers of the exam? Just curious!! | |

| I've heard of it. I've seen a lot of security professionals with it, so I think its fairly well known in the infosec area. Also seems to be quite a few sites dedicated to it.

| I am preparing for the CCNA. (I have been slacking). But Anyway that CISSP looks good!
I was thinking to get a security related cert.
Which is better?
CISSP or Checkpoint? | |

| The checkpoint certs are targeted towards their specific apps, like FW-1. Where as the CISSP is more of a general overall security concepts cert. If you are looking for network admin type jobs, I would think the Checkpoint would be better. If you are looking to do Net Security consulting, then the CISSP would be a better route. | |

| As far as the certs, that is also the way I see them, gammann. BTW Firewall 1 ROCKS!!!!
Just one man's opinion!!! | |
|
| It is for expenisve worker and people that requried to have advance training.
No for general new people just want to be the one. Need alot of hard work and time. |
