| Hi,
Has anyone ever had a problem with sending emails from an exchange server 5.5 to the following type of email address:
mail that ends with ac.uk
I have been looking into this problem for quite some time now, but have not had much luck, I would be interested to hear other peoples comments, especially from those who have actually experienced this problem.
Thanks. | |

| I have a 5.5 server at the office. If you give me a valid address I will try to help you out with this one. I believe my server is allowing the extension, as we provide international service and the UK is one that we correspond with regularly. | |

| Thankyou very much for replying Pavlov.
One of the email addressess I have been having problems with is:
enquiries@reading-college.ac.uk
I read an article after posting that mentioned something about "A" and "PTR" DNS entries. Another article mentioned that ac.uk organisations perform reverse lookups on emails received, and reject email if it cannot verify it. |
