If anyone could give be a list of good books/websites/practice tests/study material to prepare for the A+ certification exams, I would EXTREMELY appreciate it. How many tests are there in order to get A+ Certified? Also, how long do you think it would take to get A+ Certified?(estimate) I'm pretty bright and have no problem with studying 5 hours every day. I've studied from 9:00 am - 11:30 pm in prep for MCSE before.(with little, 5-15 minute breaks throughout the day of course). Thanks a lot to anyone who replies!

Craiglew,

The Michael Meyers Book is an excellent choice. For practice tests Exam Drill is very good but it is not free. This website is helpful and maybe the best around many quality people here who are willing to help all you need to do is ask. There are two tests to take for the A+ hardware and software. As far as how long it will take you to get certified considering the fact you are bright and an MCSE I would say a couple of weeks should be sufficient.

I have to agree with Chas1 on this. Check out Exam Drill at www.examdrill.com. It's only $30 and well worth it. There is some overlap in the material on the 2 required exam. I scheduled both for the same day. I found the hardware exam to be the easier of the two. You can get all the requirements and details at www.comptia.org.

Best of luck to you and visit the A+ Forum. You'll find all kinds of help there
