MCSE is very popular! or being MCP!

The most respected Cert is your experience first and foremost IMHO

however to answer your question and to provide you with a tangable answer, THE most repsected IT Computer cert would have to be the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

The red hat systems engineer (RHCE) is also up there

wanna know why they are the most repsected? BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT BOOK STUY OR braindump TO PASS THEM. THey require you to fly to their home offices and acutally BUILD WITH YOUR TWO HANDS a network and then fix it.

No way can you fake yourway through that.

Does any body have these certs?
And if so was it whorth it?
And between MCSE and CNE what cert do you all think is the better one?
And what other cert is good that you dont have to go to, to there offices and do the exam there.
And thx for the help people.

I am working toward my I-Net+ I really felt as if I actually learned something with this course. I am headed for my A+ and My Mouse Certification in Access. I have taken classes for the MCP NT4 but not bothered with Certification, I am enrolled and start my Windows 2000 courses then. IMHO What I did is look at how the IT felid would intagrate into what I knew I had been working with Databases and spreadsheets and creating Web pages as a hobby. But I wanted further knowledge on how it all fit together. Most companies use the Microsoft 0S so I thought it would be good that I learn a bit about that...actually I wanted to head down the DBA route and I am not so sure I will make a final decision on that direction until I finish these courses and land a secure job. SO basically I think you should see where your experience is now and enhance from there. Hope that helps =]
