ISP - Free? Maybe?

| New Year and New Rule on Free Internet
Started Jan 01, 2001 many what we called "Free ISP" will limit their user access to the internet by hr each month.
Netzero is up to 40 hrs.
Bluelight is up to 25 hrs.
After each user reach the limit will either pay for additional use or come back next month.
So is it "Free ISP" or "Limit ISP" !!!!

| I have only one point to make and that is that you only get what you pay for!
I think that if it is free the users really can't complain if the hours are limited. I would also assume from their decision to do this that some users have been taking advantage of the free service and spending hours on the internet.
You can't expect a mansion for free, be happy with the shack.

| I have an idea.What i do i will put my computer as many free internet connection as I can.then i will use netzero suppose 40 hours and 3web maybe 20 hours and other one 40 hours.then haluluya thats all i manage and then play aal day and all nite in the free world.Every problem has a braindump.and I also appreciate to their free net.I never manage a network but i can manage my own computer. | |

| Well, I like the idea of a free service, but the problem is you really can't complain about problems when you aren't paying. I used AT&T World Net service and that's only 4.95 a month. Since I am a paying customer I can fuss about poor service, but it still doesnt make much of a difference since the cost is so low. | |

Talk about getting my attention!
I can't complain I actually got a free-pc deal just before they went under. So It truly cost me $40 total for a decent Compaq Presario with 4G drive. Then I switched to Altavista which just went under, but was totally cool with me. So now I joined Netzero.
See a pattern?
Yes you get what you pay for. But I spend time surfing, shop online as much as possible, so if they want my business free is the way!

I have 4 Internet ISP myself. I was just wonder how people react with this issure.
"Free" or "Pay"
Many people cannot afford the great service that offering from the market right now. We need to save some $$$$ for the certification.
It is costing alot
