Author Boot up problems

2000-07-11, 5:43 pm

Hi guys

I have a problem that is driving me crazy and I hope somebody can help me.

When my PC boots up, the Win 98 image starts to load and then I get the message "Invalid Directory" "Bad command or file name" This error is repeated until I press CTRL + Break, It then boots up ok and I have no problems. The first time it did this a Norton error message was shown, I have since removed Norton but still having the same problem. What I can gather is the PC is trying to load something but can not get access to the directory. I have checked AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, MSDOS.SYS but cannot find anything obvious.

Can anybody help me ?
