Test Out! Software, Any Good?
|

| I have been looking at Test Out! for MCSE & CNE study resources & have a question.
Has anyone used any Test Out!, www.testout.com/?
If so, was it worth it?
I have been looking at book recomendations & know which I would like to get but cannot afford an expensive school's lab & especially cannot afford to set one up at home. Test Out! is supposed to be for simulating working on a network, I'd just like to be sure before I plunk down the $1500 bucks, (which would be a good price if it really works!).
Has anyone had any direct experience with Test Out! materials?
Thanks!!!

| I have! Love the product. It was helpful because it has short video clips and interactive lab sessions. The simulation exams were damn close to the real thing. They are expensive, but they usually offer some good deals. I purchased the NT4 materials and got the A+ materials for free. I'm currently using their Network+ training kit. Combine the TestOut! products with a really good reference library and you can save yourself a lot of money. While $1500 is expensive, it's still a lot cheaper than the organized instructor-led courses. They have a download demo. Also, if you call them directly you can talk them down a bit further.
