Does anybody know which files need to be added to a Win 95 boot disk. I followed all the directions but after trying to boot the message says "cant find himem.sys check to make sure himem.sys is in windows" it is there so i cant figure it out. THANK YOU!

Just check in the autoexec.bat OR config.sys
i think.. wether the refrence to himem.sys points to the correct directory on ur boot disk.. Change it if not.. Let me know if it works..

I found that themsdos.sys file that gets sent originally is wrong. This si very bizzare. you have to go and drag the msdos.sys file into A: and then it works

Have you run a virus scan recently? Had this happen to a laptop that probably had a virus in its Master Boot Record (ouch!)
