Author OK Freak how do you go about rating training centers.

Please answer this question professor Freak.

What kinds of things should one look when choosing a training center to attend.

First, as them if I am part of their staff! LOL Just kidding...
What I do is I call them on the phone and get a first impression. Do they know what I am talking about? Are they LISTENING to me, or pitching? Do they sound friendly? Then, I ask around and see if others have been there and if they enjoyed it. I visit their location to make sure that it looks OK with clean rooms, new PCs, etc...
I ask to talk to an instructor -- preferably the one I will have -- and see if the guy is good or not. I ask if they have students who are OK with being called and asked about their experience. If not, walk away!
It sound slike a KGB investigation, but hey, it's your money, so do it right...
Hope this helped...

As a former instructor for A+, I would definitely get to know the instructor. See if you could even sit in for 30 minutes of one of his current classes. Any company that knows they have good instructors won't turn down that request.

Yes, if you observe a class, and get references from other people that have been to the training center you should find the answer you're looking for.

Hey tj how much does the mcse2000 course cost at new horizons. some\one told me the whole course is like $12,000.

2000-12-28, 1:52 am

That may be the list price, but I highly doubt you would get charged that as long as you did some haggling. However, don't be suprised to get charged 8 - 9 thousand. If you're familiar with networks though, you might be able to skip the net ess. class for windows 2000 though. What city are you looking at?
