Microsoft May Extend Deadline on MCSE NT 4.0 Exams
According to sources outside Microsoft, the company is considering an extension on the deadline for completing three key Windows NT 4.0 exams (70-067 Server, 70-068 Server in the Enterprise, and 70-073 Workstation). The
new deadline is conjectured to be Feb. 28, 2001.

I noticed that it sounds like a speculation, with no mention for any specific sources, no names.
I think we need confirmation from Microsoft before we can put this in the certification news category on our home page.

| I can tell you this, I took my test for exchange 5.5 over 2.5 weeks ago to become MCSE, i hadn't got my welcome kit nor has my profile updated online. I emailed microsoft and informed them of it, They told me that apparantely my test scores as of today hasn't been received from the test provider and there's defintely a problem, Microsoft instructed me to fax a copy of my pass status to them or scan it as a attachment and reply to the email they sent me and they will take care of it.!!!! They are Swamped so bad they can't even get catch a breather. I'm glad i kept my printouts. Webmaster i can certainly believe this will happen. Maybe Microsoft will re-imburse me?? Yeah right..

| Hi ... I just passed my last exam last week to become an MCSE. Can you tell me the website I would go to in order to check my profile status to see if they have updated me? Thanks, and you are the second person I have heard from with the same report about Microsoft not receiving their info from the testing site. I did receive an email from Microsoft congratulating me, but I am interested to see if they have updated my online profile. Thanks, and hope your profile is updated quickly! | |

| Okay Guys:
I just phoned and spoke to Leslie at Microsoft. She stated that Microsoft has heard the rumour stated by MCPmag and is currently in diliberations deciding what to do about it.
They will make an official decision by Thursday.
