Hi fellow Brit. esexon,

I've not seen that book but some people have in the forums and they say it's ok.

I use the MS training kit(ISBN:073561130 from www.amazon.co.uk or www.compman.co.uk) & ExamPrep Windows 2000 Accelerated by ExamCram (ISBN:157610690x again from the above sources) the latter one is eminently easier to read but the MS ones are a good reference point.

Hope this helps.

I'm going to find out soon enough. I just ordered the Carter book and the Exam Cram 2000 Core last night. I've heard really good things about what Carter puts out, and besides having confidence in Exam Cram, I've also read some very good reviews about E.C.'s 2000 core.

But first, I have to finish up Exchange...that comes next week (yikes, that snuck up on me). I ordered from www.booksamillion.com and saved about 35%.

MS Press MCSE2000 is good, but not enough.
Additional reference book will help. Carter is a good choose.

But I don't know about exam cram!

I just got the Carter W2k book off of Amazon.com for... $9.00! Either a serious typo or they are dumping them. They are now sold out.

Yeti,

Oops, you need another zero on the end of the ISBN for the book you recommended.

0735611300

Also, try http://www.price-hunter.com it searches about 30 book sites and gives you the best price. For this one it looks like http://www.bookpool.com has the best price, $109US. In my experience Bookpool.com usually has the best prices on computer books. Don't know if it is a bargain if you have to ship the order internationally.
