| Assuming I pass the Exchange exam I have scheduled this Tuesday, it right around 10 months for me. This is probably a bit long, some can do it in a matter of weeks, but I have done this with a full-time job. I began with classes in January for Server and Enterprise. I tested out on those in May, then depending on how much time I had, it took me a month to two months for each one after that. I took 2 months for Workstation, 1 month for Net Essentials, and 2 months for Proxy. I've spent 1 month getting ready for Exchange. After the classes I took last spring, which were done using the Microsoft Press books, I've primarily relied on Coriolis Exam Cram (Exam Prep for Proxy), Sybex (Exchange), and Transcenders (for all but Exchange). I've already ordered the Exam Cram 2000 Core (acting on my preferences) and a book by Alan Carter for the Accelerated, but I'm taking a break after I finish my NT track until January. Then I'm taking classes in the spring again. The classes I took last spring and the classes I'll be taking this spring were/are 5:30 to 9:45 PM, Mondays and Wednesdays.
It's a long haul, but it can be done. Hope this helps.

Base on your job field, background and time management. For MCSE 4.0 or 2000, avg time shall be about 5 to 6 months.
