How do you know before installation which applications [freeware, etc] you are loading will conflict with each other or with your windows OS? Is there a book, website(s), other?

How do you deal with it after if you do make the wrong combination choices?

Trial and error my friend:-)

Before I buy any software (or hardware) or download it, I search the Internet for reviews, especially user reviews.

It depends on your location. Check around with your local public school systems. Tell them your goals and see if they have any openings. School systems usually have a hard time finding and keeping good technicians.

Good Luck:-)

knowledge and experience will help determine that kind of situation, too.

Like you know your MSDOS is 16bit, u cannot run 32bit win application.

It is a common sense and think little logic. U will find out what to do.
