| i have just recently passed my A+ i'm not sure what to do next. I know the MCSE is a very valuable course to have but is it possible to finish the three core exams needed to qualify for the upgrade by middle Dec if i am studing full time or should i give it up.
I am very interested in web design and the internet what qualifications should i be looking at - CIW ? or MCP site builder which is more worth while. Any advice would really be appreciated ! THANKS

| Ok Jaded,
If your in full time education and your time for studying is kind of limited to evenings there are three possible routes:
1. Get hold of 3 computers and study all 3 exams like a person possessed.
2. Head for the Win2K track instead and take your sweet time (my prefered option)
3. Take up an new hobbie like fly fishing.
If you have some (6 months or so with NT) experience the have a go at the 3 core exams if not then go for the Win2K option. As for fly fishing this is far less stressful than options 1 & 2

| Jaded, if you are interested in web design and the Internet (e-commerce), why are you looking at the MCSE? Certification-wise you should be looking at i-Net and CIW. Granted that's the direction you want to go.
If web design is the direction you want to go, you should be looking at HTML, XML, FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc. Knowledge in those areas will carry a lot more than a certification.

| If u in college, go major in Graphic Design and minor in CS. It will help u alot on your future.
Don't worry about getting MCSE or MCP ..
U had time, and any certification is to improve your skills. NOT to get u into the field.
CIW will be a good start...
