Hello. I am a graduate student and I studied Economics before. I would like to work in the IT field, especially in the security issues.

What certifications should I get? Is MCSE related to security problems?

Thanks a lot :->

Most people that dealing with security issure(Support and Design) are senior IT personnel that been in the field for a while.

If u talking about with business field. U better get a IS or CS degree, then get a job from US Intelligence community either on military or civilian-govn't contact.

There are few certifictions that offer for internet security and Network:

HyCurve Secruity Specialist www.hycurve.com

Certified Information Systems Auditor(CISA)
Certified Information Systems Security(CISSP) www.isaca.org

Good luck, this is not a easy sub-special field. Hope this help u
