A+, then maybe N+?
|
|
|
| Well, I passed the A+ exams. Big sigh of relief. Now I'm thinking of maybe doing N+. How does this compare to A+ in regard to the exam and the material? Harder, about the same, more material to learn? Is it worth it? | |
|
| Firat of all, what is your overall goal or plan??? | |
|
| What is your field?
N+ is detail in basic network. It is easy if u know all the material and think logic.
If u doing A+ and N+ for your job. OK
If u think these will get u a job. NOT
There many people with these cert's but never find a job. OK
I believed it depend on your meaning of "worth."
A+ and N+ is too basic for now.
MCSE, CCNA, CNE will look better on the resume then those two. OK
If u had college degree, it even better.
This kind of I.T cert is to improve your knowledge. Don't think of it as a way to get yourself into the field. Not in this time!
Hope this help

| If you have higher goals (i.e. MCSE, CCNA, CCIE), don't pursue the Network+. Most of the stuff covered in the Network+ exam is basic stuff in other higher exams which you will get familiar with when you study for them. | |

| i-Net is pretty much in the same area as the A+ and Network+. It is a VERY basic certification. It is geared more towards the Internet and e-commerce.
It is a good starting point for the CIW, but don't expect it to get you the "big time" job. |
