Charter members only exist when a new cert is created. There were charter members for MCSE a long long time ago and then MCSA a couple of years ago and MCAD about the same time. After that when a cert has a major update you can become an early achiever but not a charter member. For MCDST the first 5000 get to become charter members, I was in the first 300. As a lead for where I teach I took the betas to incorporate it into a course. All the beta testers that passed were in that first 300. You don't get anything other than a special cert and ID card. Cert is blue and platinum. | |

| darklord 2000: Congrats! I also plan on getting MCDST certification. I intend to buy either the MS press or Exam Cram 2 book for my study. Would this be enough? If not, what other materials or courses do you guys recommend? Also, how long did it take you? If I study full time I hope to finish each core exam in 2 weeks. Also, whereabouts did the actual exam take place in Sydney? Thanks. | |
