This certification is for programmers who are already familiar with the basic
structure and syntax of the Java[tm] programming language, and who have a need
to further apply this knowledge to developing complex, production-level
applications. Certification is available for the Java 2 platform.
Certification consists of two elements: a programming assignment and an essay
